them former Future Farmers,
now engaged m farming on
their own or m partnership
with an older farmer They
are supervised on the farm
by the teacher of Vocational
Agricultuer, and hold a ser
ies of weekly evening meet
ings during the winter
months
In addition to classes in
welding, these young men
study other subjects relating
to their problems in becom
ing established in the busi
ness of farming. Subjects as
varying as animal diseases,
plant nutrition, and record
keeping for income tax pur
poses, have been on the
schedule. Summer meetings
of the group usually include
some family social activity.
