These boys both students at
Elizabethtown College, won
state competition in livest
ock demonstration in Au
gust. The demonstration they
will nres-mt in Chicago will
not be the one used at Penn
State University since the
national contest calls for the
subject to deal with the con
serration phase of livest
raising.
Kenneth Young, son of
Mr. and Mrs. Charles Young
and Melvin Shenk, son of
Mr. and Mrs. Harry Shenk
will be Pennsylvania’s only
4-H club representatives at
the International Dairy Show
and the fifth annual 4-H Da
iry Conference. Both Young
and Shenk are high school
graduates farming a "

is an award for their win
in the dairy demonstration
contest at state 4-H club
week.
According to Dr. William
Smith, state 4-H leader at
the Pennsylvania State Uni
versity, Pennsylvania will
have a delegation of 35 at
Club Congress out of a 1500
total attendance.
