This was! a result pf Dickerson’s talk on the need for more grad uates in agriculture during the annual conference of the Agricultural Extension Ser vice in Jartuary, As part of his talk, Dr. Dickerson supplied each cou nty Extension office with a folder containing information on training in agriculture. The information includes a list of scholarships, costs of attending the College of Ag riculture at Penn State, car eers in agriculture l , and pla cements of recent graduates. “County agents do an ex cellent job of discussing car eers in agriculture at' meet ings of service clubs and farm organizations,” Dr, Dic kerson points out. ( “Ip- this way the agents acquaint many parents and friepds of prospectice stu dents with the training at Penn State,” he adds.
