Quality was not as. good as last week but better than previous weeks. Compared with last week’s close slaughter- -steers sold mostly 50 higher. Cows clo sed the week steady after a 25 cent higher market on Thursday. Bulls 25-50 high er. Stackers and feeder stea dy to strong. A lot of high choice slau ghter steers weighing 1078 lb. sold at 31.50, load 1232 3b. and lot 1290 lb. choice at 30.75. The bulk of choice slaughter steers sold at 28.50 30.50. Good to low-choice -26.50-28.75. Few small lots of good and ■choice heifers made 26.00- 27.50. Utility and coml- bulls sold for 23-26, good grade fed hulls commanded 26-27.
