Oklahoman Judges Robert Totusek of Oklahoma State University, Stillwater, will pick the junior champion steer starting at 9 a. m., Wednesday, November 12 At 1 p. m. the next day the junior champion will meet the open class champion in the large siena, again under the eye of Dr Totusek He will select the Key stone International Grand Cham pion, an event that should pro vide one of the high points of the slow Groomed for Show Most of the 4-H Club and FFA showmen in Pennsylvania have fitted their animals especially for tne Keystone International show. A year ago only a few animals were groomed especially for the new event. Many 4-H showmen have “buddy” steers at home that v ill be entered in the Farm Show Baby Beef m January. The band will remain in the arena throughout the aft ernoon and will provide musical interludes between other live stock classes. Leon Falk, Jr., Pittsburgh, and Polled Hereford breeder of Bed foid County, who served as show chairman last year, is president of the association and has helped steer the conning show which all members anticipate will bring greater prestige to the Common wealth’s livestock industry William L. Medford, Chester, is show chairman and Ben Morgan, Penn State livestock specialist, is show manager. The livestock phase of the Ex position ends at 8 p. m. Friday so that show herds may be moved to the Eastern National Livestock Show at Timonium, Maryland. The truck and armed forces chows will continue through Saturday and the final rodeo per formance will be Saturday night.
