Volume of Delmarva grown poultry week ending Oct
25; Processed 3,460.907, Live 585,695 for a total of
4,046,602 Average price paid was 15.85 cents per pound,
with average wgt. of broilers and fryers slaughtered 3 45
lbs. Change, in reported purchases was minus one per cent
from previous week, plus 29 per cent for corresponding
week of 1957.
Last week’s Delmarva broiler
feed ratio held at a somewhat
anemic 3 3, as broiler prices lose
to 15 85 cents pel pound over

prices of 20 per cent mash kept
