Do Your Pullets Have Lights? This tune of year most poultrymen are housing pullets. Sometimes, you are so busy you forget about one of your most important assets—lights. As soon as pullets start to lay it is good to give them morning lights, especially this time of year when the days are getting shorter. A good system would be to set your clock for Sam. On-real dark days it would be a good idea for you to keep lights on all day Don’t be afraid that you are pushing your pullets too hard. Today’s strains are bred for 90% production. You need morning lights to encourage your birds to peak at 90%. Also with morning lights you will find that your pullets will come into production more uniformly. At the' same time feed consumption will increase so these pullets can maintain this production for a longer period of time. BABCOCK BESSIES are bred to his 90% production. They can’t do it though unless you give them the proper lighting system Here’s what a successful poultryman had to say about his Babcock Bessies “My Babcock Bessies are the most profitable birds I ever had. . They hit a peak production of 90-93%’’ —Raymond N. Ulrich R D *2, Denver, Pa | STARTED PULLETS AVAILABLE | BABCOCK HATCHERY R.
