Ihe biggest mcmtive for the selling spree 169,370 head were sold was the fact that the top price paid at the July 9 Eastern Shore Poultry Growers Exchange auction was 19 80 cents a pound The price range at Lancaster was from 20 to at 21 3 4 cents.
