QUARRYVILLE, PA.
undyed shavings are being used.
The main purpose of tihe study,
according to Chief Poultryman
Robert Moreng of Colorado State,
is to determine the effect of lil
tei temperature on growth of
chicks, but the degree of activity
in chicks on the different colors
of litter will also be observed
Perhaps, Dr Moreng says, one
color will cause the chicks to be
nervous and jumpy, while another
color may be more soothing
