Rising Feed Cost Combines with
Easing Price to Drop Broiler Ratio

PHILADELPHIA, March 25
The broiler-feed ratio took anoth
er drop this week as the price
of 20 per cent mash took a three
dollar jump and'the average price
for broilers dropped half a cent a
pound from the week before.
The ratio now stands at 4.4,
compared with 4 6a week ago and
41a year ago
