the Farm Show Commission faced
a problem of “too many horses ”
A record number of 40 teams
have been entered in the annual
State Farm Show Champonship
horse pulling contest to be held
during the week of January 13-17

According to John B McCool
Farm Show director it will be
necessary to turn down some of
the owners \yho want to bung 80
head of horses ton the Wednesday
night pulling tests, or move some
beef cattle entries into tents out
side the present temporary beef
cattle and hoise barn

cut to 97, the number of stalls
available for such horses

ing but the stalls again will be fill
ed, this time with 4-II ponies and
light hoises to be used in riding
demonstrations by boys and girls,
a new Faim Show feature to be
presented following the livestock
cavalcade on Thursday night
