Healthy Chicks Make Great Layers!
Here’s An Incentive Plan
That Really Works.
Do you hire help to raise your pullets’ To handle your layers?
Suppose your hired man takes care of 3000 pullets for you.
Give him a bonus of 10$f for each good pullet you house. He’ll yell
every time a pullet dies, every time they “pile up”. He’ll keep
foxes, dogs, etc away from them. If he raises a better flock of
pullets you’re -ahead If he raises an extra 100 pullets you have
your money back because 3000 pullets are just as easy to care for in
the laying house as 2900. Your hired man will like it. So will you.
(I assume you are not a “tight wad”)
Babcock Bessies You Buy From Us and Bessies
in Random Sample Test All The Same.
We are often tempted to mate up some special birds to enter
in Random Sample Tests. If we ever do we won’t call them
“Bessies”. Also we will put out an ad telling what we are doing
and tell all our customers by letter.
Ail Bessies entered in the Random Sample Tests are the same
as you purchase from us and any of our Babcock Franchise
Hatcheries. Actually the Bessie matures too slowly to look real
good in Random Sample Tests. They would be ideal for tests run
ning for 15 months of lay. In spite of this, Bessies were Ist and
2nd for egg production per pullet housed at Florida; in the first
quartile for all factors at Western New York Random Sample
Test; in the third quartile at Central New York where they made
a miserable showing; first at the New Jersey Flock Mating test;
6th at Missouri Random Sample Test.
Right now is the time to order Bessies Phone us collect and
we’ll book you today for any hatch you choose.
