.market at the Lancaster Poultry
Exchange jumped back from what
will probably be the years’ low
last week as 156,650 broilers av
eraged 18 31 cents
This compares with an average
of 1817 cents paid for 123,600
broilers at the corresponding sale
last year
Only 900 capettes were sold at
an average of 24 cents, 250 tur
key hens brought 29 cents and
1 925 Leghorn fowl ranged from
11% to 12% cents
