Studies to provide better
knowledge of fats and their role
in human nutrition were favored
by the U. S Department of Agri
culture’s Food and Nutrition Re
search Advisory Committee at
its annual meeting in Washing
ton, Nov. 4-6. The H-member
committee assigned high priority
to three comprehensive proposals
for extended research on dietary
fats.

tion authorities from all over the
