In Angus Cattle
Missouri maintained its lead in
Angus production by topping all
other states and territories this
year in registrations, transfers,
and new breeders, announces
Secretary Frank Richards, Ameri
can Angus Assn St. Joseph Mo
lowa continued to hold second
place in registrations but in num
ber of sales and new breeders was
edged out by Illinois. Illinois also
accounted for the most 3unior
members.
The top ten states in registra
tions were. Missouri, 20,250; lowa
17,698, Illinois, 17,669; Texas,
9,934, Kentucky, 7,886;- Virgin
ia, 7,831, Oklahoma, 7,312, Kan
