1 tablespoon chopped onion
Vz teaspoon chili powder
Dash salt
2 teaspoons lemon juice
4 English muffins, cut in
halves
Mix cheese, crab meat, onion,
chili powder, salt and lemon juice.
Spread crab meat mixture over
English muffins. Heat under broil
er until sandwich tops are golden,
brown. Serve hot. Makes eight
open-face sandwiches (allow two
per serving).

Peanut Butter Bread
1 package yeast, compressed
or dry
V* cup water (lukewarm for
compressed yeast, warm
for dry)
Vz cup milk
V 4 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon salt
2 cups sifted enriched flour
(about)
V* cup crunch-style peanut but

Cream Cheese Spread
6 ounces cream cheese, soften
ed
Vs cup orange marmalade
Soften yeast in water. Scald
milk. Add sugar and salt and cool
to lukewarm. Add one cup flour
and peanut butter and beat until
smooth. Add softened yeast and
