grow Asiatic flu virus, but AMS
officials say that diversion ‘’gf
eggs to this use is not likely to
have mufh influence on the U.,S
average price of eggs
It is estimated that some 20 to
30 million eggs may be required
to produce 85 million doses of
vaccine ovei a four or five month
period
The Sept 23 Poultry and Egg
Situation Repoit points out that
the vaccine program may have a
greater impact on the supply of
hatching eggs, but still not sharp
enough to create problems for
the poultry industry
