Broilers Average Near Year’s High
At Lancaster Exchange Thursday
LANCASTER A total of 144,-
&50 broilers selling in 35 lots av
raged 23 66 cents at the July 18
sale at the Lancaster Poultry Ex
change
The price range was from 23 U
cents to 24 cents
This is the third consecutive
week that the broiler price has
equaled the years price record
In addition to the broilers, 2,100
Leghorns sold for 13V4 and 17
cents, 725 capettes sold for 27'A
and 28 cents, and 475 heavy fowl
sold for 19 V 4 cents
