Stockers and feeders accounted for the larger number of cattle on sale this week as increased numbers of steers of southern origin, mainly from Vir gina, were included in the ar rivals Stockers and feeders ac counted for around 45 per cent of the offering Cows-made up 12 per cent. Around 60 loads slaught er steers were on sale. A fairly 'good demand existed for fed steers and with trading moderate ly active prices mostly fully steady with last Wednesday, in stances strong Heifers were scarce, steady; cows around 25 cents higher. Bulls held fully steady to strong. Stockers and feeders were more active than recent weeks with prices fully steady on stock steers, feeders strong to 25 cents or more higher.
