Here is a recipe for STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE 2 cups flour 3 teaspoon baking powder >4 cup sugar ’i teaspoon salt Va cup shortening < % cup milk Softened butter Strawberries Mix and sift dry ingredients Cut fat into mixture until the size of a pea. Make a well in the mixture and add milk gradually to make a soft dough. Toss on floured board and knead gently.
