month of March that there were
3,421 cows in the 104 herds of
the Association. There were 23
herds over 35 lbs. of butterfat
with the leading herd belonging
to Vernon Umble.

The herd having the highest
monthly butterfat average ' was
that of Harry H.Ranck, R 1 Ronks.
This herd averaged 1,649 lbs. of
milk and 62.7 lbs. of butterfat.
The herd of Marvin A. Eshleman,
Strasburg, was second with an
average of 1,581 lbs. of milk and
55.7 lbs."of butterfat.
The highest monthly butterfat
producer was owhed by Daniel S.
F>sher, K 2 Narvon. Bell A, a
registered Holstein, produced 2,-
