A herd average of 45.7 lbs. of
butterfat won first place in the
Progressive Dairy Herd Improve
ment Assn, in December for
Charles Brosius. His cows averag
ed 925 lbs. of milk.
There were 18 herds with aver
ages of over 35 lbs. of butterfat
among the 103 herds tested. In
all 3,442 coifcs were tested in De
cember, . \
