19% cent level in the Tuesday
auction here. Thirteen lots of
31,575 birds were listed, 12 lots
of 25,325 offered. Prices ranged,
from 18 %to 21%, with 1 nine lots,
itntahn'g 23,600 broilers averaging
i|p47 cents. Two’lots comprising
900 Leghorn fowl sold from 17
to 1711.

again declined Thursday, Jan. 12,
to an average of 19.52 cents per
pound. Prices ranged from 10%
to 22% cents. Hi sale #ll5, the
average was 20-75 Jan. 10, in a
liange of 20% (to 21%, and for the
feonresponding (fay a week earlier,
Thursday, Jan- 5, prices declined
to an average of 21.81 in sales of
19% to 22%.
Forty-five lots totalling 138,820
birds were listed, the same quan
tities offered, and 40 lots of
121,920-birds were sold. Thirty
eight lots of 118,300 broilers sold
Jan. 12 from 19% to 22%, aver
aging 19-52. One lot of 220 Leg
horn fowl sdld at 17%, one lot of
3400 capottes went at 20%, and
one lot of 800 heavy fowl brought
28 cents Top was paid by Carl B.
