The Belgian horses were owned and driven by Edgar Messer sm,idt, Lebanon County. The wheel horse on the hitch was “Alice Farceur,” winner of the grand champion Belgian banner at the 1956 show, a mare that had (taken the title won four times previously by her mother, “Nora Farceur* 1 ” The sheep dog demonstration was staged by Carroll Shaffner, herdsman at the Pennsylvania State University.
