The president, Howard K. Walton, conducted a brief business meeting before the inoon hour- Club- reconvened at 2 p. m. Devotions were con ducted by Frances Fredd The inspection committee, Walter Ferguson and Melvin Boyce gave a very favorable report of the Fredds’ new farm home. An interesting essay was prepared and read by the host entitled “Agriculture 1955.” Bobby and Billy Maule played an instru mental number- Madison Mc- Elwam gave some facts'about the agriculture building at Solanco- Plans are being made to- cele brate the 100th anniversary of the Club in March. The annual Christmas party will be held on Saturday evening, Dec. 17th, at Kirkwood Hall. A covered dish supper will be held at 7 p. m. The leading matter of business was planning a senes of meetings in the county to inform farmers on legislative matters in Washing ton and Hamsburg as well as to discuss labor needs for hai vest ing 1956 crops. These meetings will be conducted during the first week of January at Mt.
