Survey On Economics Of
Hunting And Fishing
The U. S. Fish and Wildlife
Service is sponsoring a nation
wide survey to evaluate the
sports of hunting and fishing.
The study was requested by the
International Association of
Game and Fish Commissioners.
It will be conducted by Crossley
S-D Surveys, Inc, beginning Jan.

In Pennsylvania and all other
states Crossley interviewers will
call on households- These statis
ticians have developed an area
probability sampling that will
provide 3t>und satistical projec
tions to the national totals- Each
interview will cover a detailed
set of questions that will call for
cooperation by hunters and fish
ermen to make it a successful
project If eaca individual inter
viewed realizes how import
ant his information can be in the
fight to preserve wildlife and his
sport there should be no prob
lem in quickly completing this
survey, the Fish and Wildlife
Sercice believes.

and Mrs. Catherine O’Rourke, 80,
were injured, when an automo
bile, owned by E. R. Ward well,
rolled down an incline in front
of the Wardwell home and onto
a sidewalk where the women
were walking The car struck
