NEWSLETTER FROM THE DELAWARE COUNTY CAMPUS ELECTION NEWS For about two weeks the walls of Delaware Campus were covered with brilliant color and student enthusiasm. All the color and enthusiasm was for the Student Government Association elections. The newspaper staff would like to congratulate the winners and thank all who actively participated in the campaigning. The elections were held from Tuesday October 11, to Friday October 14. Running for the various offices were: Cosmo Cianci, Micheal Curley, and John Swain for President; Joni Batey, Vicki Merryman, Theodore Schmidt for Vice-President; Lesley Bantom, Laura Honiss for Secretary; Ellen Ritchie and Janet Trambo for Treasurer; Gail Feldman and Debbie Raum for Parlimentarian. The results were: President-John Swain, Vice-President- Theodore C. Schmidt, Secretary-leslev Banton, Treasurer-Janet trambo and Parlimentarian-Gail Feldman. These five have a hard year ahead of them and need all the cooperation they can get. Let's get in there and help. A NEWSPAPER FOR DELCO During the last few weeks a series of meetings were held in order to lay the foundation for a student newspaper for Delaware campus. The staff expects to publish its" first edition in a few weeks. After that the paper will be published monthly. Any- one lnterested in Joining the staff or having any questions should watch the Bullepin Board for Meeting notices OPEN HOUSE Your campus invites you, your family and friends to attend its first open house to be held on Sunday netober, 29, 1967 form 1-5 p.m. This will take place on the Campus located at 6th and Penn Sts. All will have a chance to tour the campus and talk with the faculty members and staff. Refreshments will be served. A NAME FOR THE PAPER After an hour's deliberation, the newspaper staff finally agreed on two names for the paper: The Lion's Eye or the Campus Informer. We would like you, the students, to choose the name you pre- fer. Just write the name down on a slip of paper and drop it off at the main office.
