    MA v. Beaver
On January 21st, it was
the first’ home game of the New
Year for the MA Men’s Basket-
ball Team against Penn State
Beaver and both the team and
fans were very excited. With a
few new additions to the team,
all were excited to see what they
had to offer.
The game started off a
for three. Turnovers did not help
team gave the ball up 15 times.
At the end of the first half, Bea
ver was up by 32 points. MA
retreated to the locker room to
the second half well rested.
The team shot 39% from the

the field, while Beaver shot
47%. Beaver out-rebounded
Mont Alto and the opponent re-
ceived many free throws. Beaver

while MA made a trip to the line

Scranton was a game based
on focus. The boys needed
to win the next seven
games to make it to the
playoffs.
The first half was
not a high scoring event.
Mont Alto scored 23 points
compared to Worthington
Scranton’s 22 points. Mont
Alto shot eight for 27 from
the field, while Worthing-
ton Scranton shot 10 for
29. It was not the prettiest
half of basketball, but it
was a half filled with team-
work. ;
