It is a game that dates back to the mid 1800s, and today is known as “America’s Pastime.” With 30 different stadi- ums across the United States, millions of fans go to games for the overall enjoyment of the game. A number of people go to baseball games to cheer for their favorite teams, .in which the majority of fans go to baseball games to cheer for their home team. Thousands of fans may also express their admiration for their team by wearing a team’s jersey. The overall game of baseball is followed by a lot fans, many of which know top players like Ryan Howard, Derek Jeter, Ken Griffey Jr., Chipper Jones, David Ortiz, Manny Ramirez and many others. Every summer baseball fans get a treat when they watch the Home Run Derby, in which players are voted in by the fans to hit the most home runs against other players.
