Or maybe the Millstream? But does the diversity of the campus come to your mind? Yes, the amount of underrepresented groups amongst the students has grown tremendously in the past few years, but what about the staff and faculty? Where is the diversity amongst the faculty and staff? What is the reason for not having a diverse faculty and staff here at Mont Alto? Sophomore, Arsalan Ali expressed the issue of diversity: “I think that the current faculty and staff here at Mont Alto is great, but I think that it would be very educational if we had a more diverse staff on campus; I also think that a very diverse staff/faculty would bring different point of views and different cultures to the campus community.” “Although, if I would have seen an African American professor with an MLA button on, I would have tackled them!” - Peggy Russo Efforts have and are still being made to make Mont Alto a more diverse place.
