December 10, 195 k At a formal initiation dinner at Singley's last night, the Parnassus Honor Society accepted Paul Augustine as its 1 initial Fall Semester member* Paul is a third semester Tech, student from McAdoo and has been on the honor list since he began at Highacres, Lois Carper and Lawrence Kowalski, were pledged into the society since both are first semester Freshmen, Lois is enrolled in Arts and Letters and is active in Student Council, Collegian, College Arts, Sorority and Fencing, Larry, who is enrolled in Education, is a rrtemfo of College Arts, Fencing, Collegian and Chorus, Hr, Kaufman of the Tung-Sol in Weatherly, was the main speaker, was introduced by Mr, Peightal, Jack Burggraf, President, acted as Ml Shirley Ray read the charge, Hary Jane Skoff offered the acceptances, and Lillian Junas and Art Teel acted as ushers* Last Thursday evening, the T'heta Sigma Pi Sorority held a busine meeting. Although definite dates have not been set, plans were made for a bake sale, and a party for the Fraternity, It was decided that those who miss three consecutive meetings, will be fined and upon failure to pay the fine, they will be dropped from the Sorority, The Mu Delta Sigma was honored to have Dean Krecker give several interesting views on a variety of subjects which cannot be disclosed to the public, at the weekly meeting held on Wednesday night Members of the Mu Delta Sigma received their solid gray sweaters with the fraternal emblem on them. It was decided that the Fraternity members must wear their sweaters at least one day a week, with the day designated as Wednesday, The Mu Delta Sigma is seeking active participation in the Center social activities. The president, Brother Bemie Gromniak, and severa members of the executive branch of the Fraternity disclosed that the organization is very likely to ask permission of the Student Council to sponsor several of the All-College social functions. Five Fraternity members are going to serve as ushers at the Community Chorus event being held Tuesday night at 8;00 PM, at the Chr: Lutheran Parish House, The members are: Brothers Gromniak, Brungard, Wojciehoski, Antonovitch, and Gibson, We, the members of Mu Delta Sigma, would also like to bid 'farewell to one of our active members. Brother Roland Smith, due to sickness, w: be unable to continue the semester with us, Brother Smith 1 s cheerful smile and friendly cooperation will be missed by all members at future meetings.
