Action was also taken on traffic tickets that were issued to
those who had violated traffic regulations. The committee also wishes
to inform the student body that fines must be paid within 2h hours
or be subjected to additional fines for failure to pay.(Traffic
regulations are posted on bulletin board)
On Tuesday, the registration of automobiles was checked and none
registrants wore subjected to a one dollar fine.
We would like to call to your attention the speed of travel on
campus roads. The speed limit is 15 miles per hour. Slow down
or pay.
Students walking are also asked to walk no more than 2 abreast
and walk facing on-coming traffic. “
REMEMBER - Driving on the campus roads is a privilege. Do not
abuse it.
The initial meeting of the Newman Club will be held on
Wednesday afternoon in room M-209. This meeting will be concerned
with electing officers and explaining the purpose and scope of the
club.
On Tuesday several ambitious AFROTC Cadets met and started plans
for a Military Ball, As you know this is an annual affair and is
one of the biggest social events of the season. This year's ball is
showing signs of becoming one of the best we've had, and with a
committee consisting of Bob Scott, chairman, John Fusetti, Vice-
Chairman and a committee of T, J, Anthony, Barry Bloch, Jack DiLiberto,
Dave Drasher, Don Kellner, and Bob Matter, things show signs of really
hopping, so keep watching the Ball is coming up.
Only one person came to the dance last time we were to have one
and that was "Hazle", A few students braved the storm to find that
the party had been postponed.
Tonight, come what may, there will be a Halloween Party in the
Main Lounge from B*oo to Us3o, A four piece combo will provide
music for goblins and Mr. Steel's skeletons to dance to.
Bewitching Hours - 8:00 to 11:30
Bones played by four piece combo
Refreshments : Entertainment
The party is for everyone. It's paid for by your activities fee.
so the more the merrier.
