October 22, 19 On Tuesday, October 19, a mooting of the Social Committee was hold in Room 207, A majority of the members attended and most of the business for this semester was discussed* It was decided to have a Halloween Party on Friday, October 29.- in the Main Lounge, Plans were made to have a three-piece combo for this party, A schedule or calendar cf events was drawn.up for this semesters Dates were set for dancing classes and for the Thanksgiving and Christmas Semi-Formals» Committees were also set up to plan for the Halloween party.-, With all the business at hand settled, the meeting was adjourned until next week. The Science and Engineering Club held its regularly scheduled business meeting on October 18, at 7:30 p,nu A new planning committee was appointed whose members are Glenn Miller, John Kubiskin, and Mauro Walker, A program was presented by Paul Fidishun and Tom Massage on the control of the gyroscopic effects confronted in rotary wing aircraft. Since this is a new organization, the assistance of the Freshman students is very important if the club is to be successful in the future semesters.
