October 15, 195 U The second meeting of the College Arts Society was held Monday, October 11, in the garden. The most important business was the election of officers. Lillian Junas was elected President, Mary Jane Skoff Vice President, and Marlene Haegeley Secretary. The Society plans to present four movies during the coming year. For this purpose a proposed budget was set up to be submitted to the Student Government Association. Question of the •week: When are they going to have a dance here? The girls in the sorority have organized a hayride to be held next Friday night, A definite time and place have not been set as yet, but this is just a reminder to all you fellows, that the girls are looking for some likely prospects. So take heedtU The College Community Chorus, directed by Miss Pearl Garbrick, held its fourth meeting Tuesday night, October 12, with a fairly large turnout. There is still an opening for a tenor, should anyone be interested. The next meeting will be held next Tuesday evening at 7:30 pm in the music room.
