1. All student cars must be registered with the Traffic Committee.
2. Student cars must be parked in the parking lot at the bottom Of the hill
only. Exceptions to this rule, for urgent reasons, will be approved by the
traffic committee.
Note: Cars on the student parking lot must first use all the parking
places around the perimeter of the lot, each car parking at it:.right angle to
the edge of the lot.
3. No student cars may be parked at the top of the hill, in the main driveway,
anywhere along the main driveway, or in any of the lanes or paths leading
off the main driveway * Student cars without special parking permits shall
be permitted at the top of the hill only for the purpos6 of loading or
unloading passengers,
4. A 3.5 mile—an-hour speed limit must be observed everywhere on the campus driveways
5,, Student appeals from penalties for violations of parking rules may be sub
mitted to the Traffic Committee within one academic week following the receipt
of a parking violation ticket. All appeals must be written and may be handed
to the secretary in the main administrative office.
6. Registration of 1954 license plate numbers will begin March 15 and will end
April 1, 1954•
7. A fine of $1 will be imposed for the first violation of any of the abave
rules. A fine of $2 will be imposed for the second violation. Upon the
third violation, the student will be fined $3 and will be referred to the
committee on student discipline.
