WHAT'S THE SCOOP???
An investigation WAS made to determine whose cars have the most mileage on them,
The results were as follows: Lawrence (Sid) Sydlo won first prize. His 1930 Model
A Ford has 198 / 734 miles on it. Joseph (Doc) Dougherty capped second prize with his
1936 Plymouth. His antique travelled 191 / 832 miles, Jim Johnson's 1936 Pontiac won
third prize for him. It rolled up the speedometer to 188 / 468 miles.
The first prize was a bid from Kressl Auto Wrecking Company. The second prize
is a can of Piston Seal. The third prize was a new windshield wiper.
The investigation was made through' the courtesy of the U Drive It Company, Inc.
ATTENTION: Tom Gaydos.. ..... You are the only student who rears white bucks that are
white. Get hpp, man, have them stepped on a few thousand times so they become
stylish Jack McGraw, a first semester student from Freeland, was awakened
at five o'clock in the morning by a loud, loud telephone ring. Then he answered it,
he was asked to pick up a patient..... Don't be alarmed readers, his father has an
ambulance service.
P.S. Jack was wide awake by the time his first class rolled around.
Since the last edition of the Collegian, Jack Burggraf hasn't been keeping late hours
Jack, have you lessened your hours of study or your hours of romance??......
Let's be honest about this Have you soon Bernie Komselts new shoes??? van,
are they cool.. ...... *Ralph Catino claims that his friends smoke so much that he
has to take two packs of cigarettes to school, one for his friends and one for him—
self.......... Pete MeMonigle is sporting the sweater he received for his athletic
contributions while attending }Lazio Township. Dontt miss seeing this garment
Dig those new charcoal grey flannel pants that Francis Gattas has been wearing.

CAMPUS GIGGLES
Grubbs gave each of his rriters the Pall Mall award for notable service
service in the field of journalism. The prize as a Pall hall Cigarette.
Jim Kobrick was overheard saying, "I don't have anything against people,
it's just civilization I hate,
Mr. Alcox to students: "The footnotes aren't too important."
Mr. Grubbs to students: "You to tell me you don't rand footnotes."

TAKE IT UP ".HONG YOURSELVES
In last week's edition of THE COLLEGIAN an article as printed about a proposed
yearbook. 17e haven't heard too many opinions and ideas about our idea so far. Than
do you start talking it up?? LetrTHE COLLEGI"N staff know what the student body
wants.. Staff members are willing to sacrifice their time if you, with them, are
willing to sacrifice a slight fee, not exceeding $1.50. 7e want you???
