(1) Six credits in each of the following five fields: (a) English composition; (b) history; (c) philosophy; and (e) music or art * Twelve credits in each of the following three fields: (a) foreign language, ancient or modern; (b) science and mathematics; (c) the social sciences * Three credits in psychology Four credits in Physcial Education for male and female students; and six credits in courses for male student Fifty-three credits in the major field (24-36) in elect ives to bring the total up to 132 credits for men and 126 credits for women. (Six required credits in any field will be counted towards the major.) These required credits in the designated fields are to be completed the following sequences' (1) Before the beginning of the third semester: six credits in each of the following fields: (a) Enfjish composition (E. Cmp, 1 and 2 or 5); (b) history; (c) a foreign language.
