eral hours in an Air Force 0.44.7.
Last semester therewere several flights of this type, and Captain Carpi
hoping that - every cadet will get the lo:7-rtunity to participate in a`k,

the Hazleton Penn State Center at the 3rd annual Student Government Confer—
ence at Ogontz Center on Priddy and Saturday / October 30 and 31. Registra—
tion will take place at 7:00-p. Friday followed by a brief busineSe
meeting and late supper. Saturday morning andaftcrnoon group discussinns
will be held. The Center's annual Hallorean dance will be held Saturday
night at Ogonti.
SOCIAL CONITI'TEE PUNS DANCES OF THE ME
At the first meeting of the. Social Committee,which was hold on Monday
October 19, 1953, plans wore made for the Thursday night dances, HallOWean
Dance and the Thanksgiving Somi-FormaL
All Thursday night dances will be hold to coincide with the meeting of
the girlts Sorority ) Which arc to be held the first and third Thursdays of
the month. :411 dances will follgw immediately beginning at 8:00 and and at
11i30 - . Lily contributions of popular or novelty records Will be decepted wi
gratitude,:
The Hallowean Dance which was held this Thursday was taken care of by
the Sorortly. This agreement was reached with the social committee during
their first meeting. Harriet Tulin vas acting chairman for the dance. Va
ieus cothmittoes sore made, on selecting records, playing the records, and
