THE SORORITY SPLURGES
A dinner was held Thursday, Hay 21, (last night) at Singlcy’c. The purp ’cc
of it was to have a last ninute gathering and to bid farewell t; the s:rorxty
girls Who are leaving. Gifts were presented t o Elice vriegcr, -*aric Jacko,
Joan Griesing, Hary Hacara, Habcl Lewis, and Jane Tressler. The girls bid a final
farewell to Hiss Dißubbn and after the dinner all the girls proceeded to Penn
State to attend Thursday evening dancing class*

Wednesday evening in the ’lain L iungcthe last Hu Delta Signa Fraternity
neeting was called to order by President-Joe Bel vich. fnthe presence of their
Doan of Hen, Hr. Ralph N, Krecker, the constitution df the frat was read to the
members and after two proposed and passed amendments it was ad 'pted by a unaniri us
vote. The auditing committee c nprised >f John Carr, Dave Edwards, and Frank
Snida worked on the frat books with the Sigma treasurer—Jack Gr mniak—bef ore
the meeting and pr nptly at 7*l*s made .their,report t the fraternity members
who quickly accepted it.

Bob Henney.Were elected t > the Intopin Council. These nen were elected, f o this

filling officer positions until the regular officers take office after the
fraternity election.
Only 6 frat nenbers arc returning to Highacres next year and up >n their
shoulders falls the responsibility of upholding the fraternity's No. 1 sp t.
