REPORT OF THIS WEEK’S STUDENT COUNCIL MEETINGi Change Admission Policy
At yesterday's Student Council meeting the following points were discussed and
acted upon.
1. It was decided that there would be no admission charge at the home basket
ball games held in A. D, Thomas gymnasium. The expenses will be taken care of by
drawing from the student activity fund.
2* A letter received by the Student Council and read by Pat Tomsho, secretary,
extended an invitation to Highacres ping-pong players to join, in a Pennsylvania
tournament. Council decided that such a venture may be possible, but made no
decision until the costs are investigated, '
3. A motion was passed to change the time of Student Council meeting to
Wednesday, fifth period. This will be possible because next semester the fifth period
on Wednesdays and Fridays will be open on all students’ schedules so that group
meetings can be held. Mr. Frank Kostos engineered the master schedule to provide
these open periods,.

Registration for the Spring semester will be held in South Hall room 101,
Friday and Saturday, January 23 and 2iu By this time all students have probably
checked their registration time schedule on the back of the green exam schedule sheet.
Students must adhere to the schedule, says Mr, Frank Hostos, who is in charge of
registration, in order that no students will be caught in a long lineup and waiting
period.

THETA SIGMA Pi TO HOLD DINNER
The theta Sigma Pi sorority will hold its annual dinner at Singley's, January 22,
at 6:00 p*m. This dinner is held annually to bid farwell to the girls who will
leave for the main campus and other colleges in February,
Secret Pals will be revealed at the meeting.
PARNASSUS PLANS DINNER AT ALTAMONT
Members and the six pledges of Parnassus will have dinner together at the
Hotel Altamont, January 21, The time set is 6:00 p.m.
Robert Lambert head of the personnel department of the Wise Potato Chip Company,
will be the speaker for the affair.
Each member and each pledge has been requested to bring a friend to the dinner.
At the present time all the members have their blue hats with the Parnassus sym
bol in gold, and the pledges have their white hats with the gold symboli
ALL STUDENTS INVITED TO JOIN COLLEGE-COMMUNITY CHORUSj TO GIVE SPRING CONCERT
All students are invited to come to the first College-Community chorus meeting
of the spring semester, Tuesday, January 27, New members will be accepted.
At the meeting , to be held in the college music room, the group will be
organized with officers and committees, and plans will be made for a spring concert.
With the Christmas concert a success, the chorus is eagerly looking forward to a
spring appearance.
Several committees will be organized to help with the concert, including a
committee on membership, music selection, and telephoning.
The meeting will be followed by a social hour.
