December 19, 1952 STUDENT-CCMMUHITY CHORUS PROGRAM A SUCCESS The Student-Community Chorus under the direction of Miss Pearl Garbrick presenter its annual Christinas program and card sing Tuesday evening, December 16, in Wittich', Music Store, Hazleton* A largo crowd attended the program, and all agreed that it was a success* The program consisted chiefly of Christmas music. There were several old English carols, and two violin solos by Anne McHugh. The audience joined in singing the familiar traditional carols. Last night the chorus sang at the banquet held by the American Association of University Women at the Altamoat Hotel. Future plans of the ohorus include singing at the Annual Burning of the Greens which will be held by the YWCA on January 6, at twenty-second and Grant Streets in Hazleton. On February 3, the chorus will organize for the spring semester* At this time new members will be Invited to join the chorus The chorus includes members from the community and students here at the Center* Those students who are members of the chorus are Harriet, Tulin, Lois Miller, Jane Tressler, Dave Landau, Edward Keller, and Frank Magno.
