Yesterday fir. Frank Kostos, assistant administrative head, started to hold
consultations and to pre-register students for next semester, Ho will continue
these pre-registration sessions until April 30, and that's not far away.
MAIM IT A DATE: START LINING UP THAT WZIAN FOR THE QUEEN'S BALL
The Student Council has reminded students and faculty to start lining up their
"dates" for the big "Queen's Ball", which mill follow the 'Tay Day Coronation
?Tay 10. This big semi -formal dance will start at 9:00 in the Valley Country Club
and will swing to the music of Scotty Parsons and His Orchestra.
COLLEGE ART SOCIETY DEALS FOR FRENCH MOVIE
The College Arts Society is awaiting the word on the date for a French movie. Our
next issue should have this information.
PLANS BREWING FOR CLEANUP DAY
Progress is reported by the Student Council in its planning for the Annual Clean-Up
Day April 30. The student body is to be divided into groups, each with a faculty
member, to proceed with the spring cleaning of the campus. The Council says that it
will serve refreshments to the workers.
BOWLING LEAGUE GAINING MOT' MU
Intra-mutal bowling leaguers, under the direction of Coach Harold Wausat, are gain
ing momentum.at their Monday night rumble and crash sessions at the Y.M.C.A. We have
nt been publishing the scores because they are too old by our Friday publication
date to be news. Coach Wausat posts the official scores and standings on the
bulletin boards.
The schedule for next Monday is as follows:
Devils vs Headpins 6:00 p.m.
Blue Aces vs Vultures 7:15 p.m.

Monday at 7:30 the Math-Science-Engineering Club will have as guest speaker a man
on the staff of the Pennsylvania Power and Light Company.

The women in the Highacres sorority Theta Sigma Pt have chosen a pin suitable for
their organization and havo.put in their orders for the pins. They aro expected to
arrive in about three weeks.
GIRLS, DO YOU WANT TO ARCH?
Girls interested in retaining and developing that womanly beauty are to have the
opportunity of supervised outdoor sports on the Highacres athletic field, it has
been announced by Miss Florence Yannes, dean of women. She said that Coach Nausat
will supervise the girls in archery, softball, volleyball and other sports every

LOCALE 07 MAY QUEENtS COROMTION AIg',`TOUNCED; REHEARSAL:
Publicity chairman for the May Day celebration at Highacres, May Lou Gagliardi,
has announced that the coronation of May Queen Josephine Donish will take place in
the sunken garden. She says that the girls are expecting the largest May Day crowd
in Highacres history.
Program chairman Mathilda Goyda has announced rehearsal this afternoon at 4:00
in the college library for all the girls who are in the coronation ceremony.

for their kind remembrances during her recent hospitalization.
