PENN STATE JESTERS
DRAMA CLUB NAME
"Penn State Jesters" was the name
chosen for the liaileton Center's
dramatic club.
An interesting demonstration on
applying make-up for the juvenile,
the middle age and the old age per
son was given by Jean Lovrinie at
the last meeting. Neil Lwellyn was
the model.
During intermission on November
19 an entertaining show will be pre
sented by members of the Penn State
Jesters.
Arthur Cloetingh, head of Dra
matics at the campus, will be here
November 16 for a center caucus.
In all fairness to the males of the
Hazleton Center, a survey has been
condutted among the women to get
some idea of what type of clothing is
making or breaking the man today.
One contributor thought the men
ought to spend more time combing
their hair. Hair knows what 'tis to be
parted! Another spoke highly of
something a little more "groovy,"
creases in trousers and shirt sleeves.
Eyes right, take a bow, Aaron Deitch.
Splashy socks apparently rate sec
ond highest with the women, not to
overlook a vital complement, loud ties.
Fellows taking courses from, James
Steele should take note. And, does
anyone know who helps Bill Baran on
and off with his ski-shoes ? . . .
Some very interesting facts have
seeped out about the outside dives of
several women students at RUC: To
mention just a few, Nancy Dißonilfa
zio and Tirsuline Umbriac are both
trained nurses et the Hazleton State
Hospital. Their hours are from 4
until 12 p. m. daily . . . .
Sara Gensel,- of iNescopeck, is a
little woman with a lot of responsi
bilities. Besides taking active part in
extra-curricular activities, president
of the Neophyte Dance Club and sec
retary of IRC, she is a leader of a
Girl Scout Troop at Nescopeck, and
conducts a junior choir there. . . .
