The Student Union Board (SUB)
held their “Club Fandango - Best Buns
Contest" on Thursday, September 6 in
the Commons.
The heat from the wild college crowd
and the base from the pounding music,
provided by Safari Sam, created an
outrageous atmosphere that prepared
each individual for the unusual event to
come. As the loud music continued to
play the crowd danced, stomping and
yelling for the contest to begin.
At 10:30 p.m., the crowd engulfed
the stage; each individual scrambled to
claim a good spot from which to view
the contestants. The crowd waited im
patiently. The bouncers (those big mus
cular guys from the Weight Lifting
dub) stood around the stage as a
boundary line between the contestants
and the excited audience.
The hour that all had been waiting
for brought forth nine beautiful ladies
and nine handsome men who modeled
their derriers to the hand clappin’, head
banging crowd.
The judges for the event then faced
the complicated task of choosing
“butt" was the best. The two
models chosen were first place a
Mike Trip and second place v
Jason Ruch.
