Monday, December 18, 1978 -%e*e KIM PARSON President There will be a “Little Buddy Gym Night” January 16, 1979 in the Highacres Physical Education Building. What is a Little Buddy Gym Night? If you have read the previous HCAC column you know that a Little Buddy is a child, age 7 to 15 years, who is a member of a one parent family. These children come to the gym by bus and are greeted by their Big Buddies who are college students from this campus that are looking for a night of . fun. The Buddies go swimming, bowling, or they play volleyball, basketball, or whatever else they may want to do within the boundaries of the gymnasium. Later in the term there will be a sign-up sheet going around the campus. If you are in terested in becoming a Big Bud dy on January 16th - sigh up! It will be a rewarding experience for all who become involved. We all know that Christmas is nearing and to celebrate this oc casion HCAC is sponsoring a Christmas Dance. It will be held Monday, December 18th from 8:00 to 11:00 P.M. in the Residence Hall’s Dining Hall. There will be plenty of refresh ments and plenty of rock music, featuring the rock band “Topaz.” Tickets are $2.00 in advance or $2.50 at the door. NO JEANS PLEASE. On behalf of HCAC and myself, I would like to wish everyone a merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year. SKIING “Everyone who has gone has enjoyed it,” said Dr. Alan Price, advisor of the Ski Club.
