In this age of con veniences, of push-but ton machanisms, and zip top beer cans, there ex ists a group of deter mined, dedicated indivi duals who aren't willing to take the easy route to opening beer cans. They refuse to open cans using the tab on top. They go out of their way by using can openers to open their cans from the bottom to perserve and eternalize their preci ous beer cans. Highacres has sever al beer can collecting enthusiasts. Among these enthusiasts is one student, John Page, and one former Highacres stu dent, Brad Mcnab. John Page explained how he got started col lecting beer cans. "The day my car broke down on the interstate and I had nothing to do; so I star ted to collect cans." That day was only two months ago and Page now has 250 different cans.
