New Procedures Set Forth Procedures for electing Student Standards Board mem bers have been revised this year, according to Arthur Boyce, Residence Hall Coordi nator. In previous years the elction process was rather simple. The persons who want ed to be on the Board submit ted their names to the coordina tor. This sheet contains questions that help Boyce learn things about the candidate that may be heneficial, or clear up any con flicts in terms of extra-curricular activities. The sheet contains questions such as: "Do you see any weakness in yourself that may hinder you in your endeavours as a Student Standards Board member?' "What is your concept of an ideal disciplinary system?" What do you feel your role as a member of the Student Standards Board will be?" This sheet is then returned to Boyce and used for informational purposes. The second step involves a testing-screening session. All persons who filled out forms ate tend this session. The session is set up this way: The applicants are confronted with a hypothetical problem concerning an alleged student By Standards Board By JOHN SENGLE Collegian Staff Writer conduct violation. Mr. Boyce supervises the session but has no official capacity as an e valuator. The evaluators look for certain individual quali ties is the applicant during their group discussion of the case.
