I thoroughly understand the status of the economy and the strained estimates of re venues in the Commonwealth and Penn State, of course, ex- Fine Arts Festival Planned To Be Held at Highacres The Greater Hazleton Area Pine Arts Festival is to be held at Highacres for the very first time this year. The festival will take place over the weekend of May 9 through the 11, and will include such events as a jur ied art/photography show, a juried art show, a juried photo graphy show, an original craft exhibit, a sidewalk art exhi bition and sale, and a juried art show. Joyce Barton, a third term student residing in the dorm, has been chosen to take the position of Executive E ditor, now held by Christie Tito. Ms. Barton is majoring in English with a writing op tion. Francis Grencavich has been named Business Manager for the Highacres Collegian, replacing Donna Baver in the advertising department. Francie is a third term history major. Registra tion takes place 7*50 a.m. at the Harmon Geist Stadium. Ap plication deadline for all walkers is April 5* The money from this Walk athon helps nearly 250,000 people in the NE Pa. chapter.
