EDGAR WINTE ' continued from page four LaCroix's leadership. Edgar then left that group and after a period of inactivity came out with his new group. His album "They Only Come Out at Night" has soured into the top 10, a pinnacle unequalled by any of his other efforts. Winter has also recently replaced'his guitarist with Rick Derringer, a move which I feel will add greatly to the group's music, since Derringer has produced all of Winter's album. The concert itself was well organized and it showed to great detail the profes sionalism that is involved with the making of today's music. The sound system was more than adequate for the job and was ready for use on time with none of the customary delay. The light show was excellent. Very few people are aware of the fact that a good light show can make the difference between a good and a bad concert, al though this wasn't the case. The music'was good, the perform ance was good, and the crowd re action was so great that they brought the group back for two encores. This writer hopes that the University Concert Committee will see fit to bring more groups of this caliber to Penn State.
