Sorority Holds Election; The Theta Sigma Phi Sorority of the Hazleton Campus recently held a meeting in which officers were elected. Following is a list of the officers: President; Connie Belletiere Vice-president: Nancy Frye Secretary: Barbara Jarick Treasurers Sally Suitaj Publicity Chairman: Lois Lombardo Executive Committee Member: Kathy Fogarty Following elections, the matter of a Hayride was brought; up„ It was decided that it would be held on October 15. Two new rules were presented to the sorority* The first was that absence from three consecutive meetings without a valid excuse was reason enough to be not in cluded as a member.-, The second was that all dues for this semester which £sre $1.50 must be paid by October 15* In addition, the freshmen were present ed with their initiation instructions. Initiation was carried out during the course of the past week. Also, the president appointed a pro gram committee: Chairman: Assitants: The president will inform all sorority members of the next meeting. Upon completion of his tour, Doc'ao.'V Wb'lker proceeded to the Student Union Building, where he met informally with faculty members and students.
